Title: avast freezes after core shield disabled

whenever I try to disable the core shield for 10 mins nothing happens.
then if I try to disable it for 1 hour it works, but avast freezes and refuse to go away until I restart my computer.

I have already tried doing a clean install wiht the avast clear app.

any advice? I had this issue before but it was fixed after doing a reinstall. but this time it won't go away.
using win10 ver1903
