Title: webroot

I have never used Webroot. It was on this laptop I acquired. I have tried to remove, and I don't see it anywhere anymore. I still get a splash screen to install. How does one get that to stop? I hope you can help, as I'm sure people switching to Avast have needed help with this before.

I ran the removal tool. It is gone from my list of programs. I still have a pop-up for Webroot Secure in the desktop. It pops in as I'm trying to install MalwareBytes now.  I can't get malwarebytes to install.
