Sorry, this is going to be rather vague, as I'm remote from my Mum's laptop which is having the problem... she's trying to renew Avast VPN, and this keeps on coming up, apparently

She's not having any other connection issues, as far as I'm aware.

Hi,

Based on what you have said, I would recommend that you either "Restart" the PC or Router (or both).
You can also attempt to repair the app. https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Repair-Antivirus

Thanks - tried the restarting bit, so will try the repair...
