NOTE: Bryce 5.0 does not run under Mac OS X Tiger (Mac OS 10.4 and above).

So no use to me. I woul think that it would run in tiger now that tiger has been out over a year and a half

Well, Bryce 5 is very old. It was actually developed by Corel back then, DAZ jumped in (they bought this part of Corel) with version 5.5 which is also quiet old already.

I don't think there's any software that was actually developed by Corel ;D - the bought all the stuff.

Back in 1997, Bryce was offered by Metacreations, and it may not be the first producer either - I think it was Kai before that (though I'm not sure if it's actually a company name).

Yeah i know back to Metacreations, but Corel had this trademark for the most of teh time and Bryce 5 was also one of those back then.

A good point to this freebie is that if you have never tried Bryce, this would give someone the advantage of trying without spending any money. Should someone then find that they enjoy this and/or are good at using the program, they could then upgrade by purchasing the most recent version of Bryce.    :)
