Title: Need help! with Avast free trial.
Post by: Haylee3 on January 03, 2020, 01:32:11 PM
Hey all,

I've posted about this topic before but I only received one reply which wasn't helpful at all as they only directed me to a page that can't help in the slightest... thanks for that.

My predicament is... I signed up for the Avast Premium Security (Formerly Avast Premium) free trial but the problem with this is at the time I hadn't changed my Paypal email. My Paypal email was EXTREMELY OLD! I'm talking over 10 years old and I haven't accessed the email in over 5 years. So of course I can't remember the password and I can't remember any information to retrieve my account. I hadn't bothered changing it because I never had any problems with it being linked to Paypal until now.

Because I haven't been able to check my emails I haven't received the activation code and I cant access that account to cancel the free subscription. When I go on the support they ask for the email used and the order number... I don't have that. I can't even link my old email with my new account because they need to send a email to validate it. I tried ringing the number I got when I typed in Avast contact support number (8669517679) and what happened? I keep on getting disconnected. Avast don't even have a live chat -_- I'm really at my wits end and I need help.

I have questions??
A. Because I didn't activate it on my Avast software will the free trial still go to payment once the free trial is up?
B. what do these images mean? Do they mean that I don't have the paid subscription and I don't need to bother with this crap.
