Title: Why use Avast antitheft when it can be easily bypassed

I purchased Avast Antitheft and was rather disappointed that nothing worked as advertised.  The thief simply hard reset the phone using maybe the buttons or some other method and now my phone doesn't even show up as linked to my account.  All the vaunted features did not work at all.
Useless IMO.
