Title: No way to "silence" Avast Password on a particular site
Post by: Sergio345 on January 30, 2020, 08:51:53 PM
Hi all. Excuse me if this has been addressed somewhere else, I could not find any reference to it.
I have Avast passwords extension installed in Firefox and Chrome on a Mac and on a Windows PC, so this behaviour is browser independent and OS independent. So far AP is working very well, but I noticed that apparently there's no way to "silence" it on a particular site, for example: I just don't want to save the password for my bank.
Is there a way to tell Avast Password to NOT ask for the password on a site, ever again? as the browsers do? It seems this "feature" is not implemented.

Hi,

This feature is not available within the app itself.

An alternative would be to make changes to the extension in Chrome.

In Chrome, you can make changes to "Site access - Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites you visit"

Thanks so much for your answer, I didn't know these. Let me "play" with those settings and see if it can do what I want. Cheers :D
