Title: can't open hotlinks in email

Avast free updated last night and this morning I am unable to open links to articles from trusted sites that I get every day. The message I get is "Unable to open (website address). Message doesn't particularly say it's from avast but that's the only update I'm aware of since last night.

There was also a Windows update. A screenshot of the "Message" would be helpful. What email program are you using? What operating system?

Not sure what you mean by avast free updating last night, there hasn't been a program update for a while ?
What avast version do you have (see attached image for my version/build) ?

I'm using Thunderbird and links are still opening in my browser Firefox as they should.
