3rd time since Jan. I have gotten
Threat Blocked
safely aborted r2--sn-vgqsrnes.gvt1.com
Tried technical support and could not understand the person from India.
Can anyone help??

Phone service is via 3rd party tech support only.

There really isn't much to work with in your first post.

1.  If you can outline what you were doing to get this alert.
2.  Were you actually trying to connect to gvt1.com ?
3.  A screenshot of the alert could help, attach it to your next post.

I was working in Excel and was not online

ran full scan and Avast found nothing

sounds like this link is to pay a 3rd party support team.  Not interested in that.  Will just look at another Virus software

The assistance offered via that links comes from Avast! volunteers like ourselves. They charge nothing, and have not charged anything at any point in time to my knowledge.

You just Follow instructions in step #1 and #2 and attach the logs
When done a malware Expert will assist you .... and it is FREE
