hi there ! i found like the free ransomware protection @ https://www.avast.com/c-ransomware-protection-tool


After i installed it. it seems to cost money to acivate the socaleld free  anti samsomware .

'in that page i sent  there is no mention of price.

the  site only talks about free !

so after that it should be free !

Ransomware protection is included in Avast Free, I'm not aware of any standalone tool.

when i try to acivate it it says i need to pay to activate

If you mean Ransomware Shield, that's an extra layer of ransomware security.

ooo?  so the free version also protects againts ransomeware?

wel how am  i suposed to turn that  function on then ?

i can only see the pay button for that.

If you had read the description, it states the following:
"Avast Free Antivirus is the award-winning, 100% free anti-ransomware tool
that stops dangerous ransomware and other types of threats before they can harm your files."
The download link downloads the free version of Avast.
