Title: Avast Free Antivirus; Commercial vs. Personal Home error message.

Today, out of the blue, I received a message that Avast is detecting that I'm using the Avast Free Antivirus on a commercial computer. I am not, and have never been. I'm on a personal laptop, unemployed, and don't use my laptop to make money.

I'm curious as to what it's using to determine that I'm using Avast commercially, but more importantly, I'd like my home computer to still be protected. Anybody else get a similar error?

what account are you logged in to avast and a Commercial or Personal?

you had a paid avast?

could be a mistake

do a clean install

Uninstall avast
