Hello malware fighters,
The security add-ons or plug-ins or extensions as they are called really make the Firefox or Flock browser shine. Through our many postings about this subject, a lot of Firefox surfers here have NoScript, Adblock Plus G Updater and GeoTrust or Distrust installed.
NoScript is very important as an add-on because JavaScript stays one of the main vectors for your computer to become infected through the browser, another form is Flash. So do install Flash Block 1.5.1, normally Flash objects are blocked, and a button enables you to run it if you wish so. Another tiny add-on is also very remarkable security wise is Formfox, pops up from action when submit button is about to be checked. No weight on the browser, and very wise to have installed.
I am still very satisfied with my Netcraft anti-phishing toolbar, the only toolbar I use.. And QuickJava also nicely alongside NoScript. Stealther 0.95 and CookieSafe are part of my Flock experience. DrWeb anti-virus link checker is my favorite,

I used to have the Flash Block extension installed with FF 1.5rc2, then I installed No Script and as far as I can recall the two conflict. Just done some digging for some emails with the developer of FlashBlock.

Aha! For flashblock to work, you need to enable javascript in Firefox.
(Tools->Options->Content->Enable Javascript).
Flashblock will also not work if you are using the NoScript extension,
but in this case NoScript comes with it's own Flash/Java/etc blocker.

We don't actually specifically check for NoScript; we just check if
javascript is "working", and NoScript makes it look like javascript
is not as far as Flashblock is concerned. Please use the Flash blocker
built into NoScript instead.

So unless this has changed the two can't work together (or flash block can't do its task as it requires JavaScript. As mentioned in one of the emails NoScript also has its own flash blocker.

Thank TedNelly for the links posted. Well the same little problem you have when you install NoScript and Quick Java.
Add-ons that work perfectly together on Flock are; NoScript, Adblock Plus with the Filterset G. Updater, Nuke Anything, Show IP, Pwd Hash, Tamper Data, SearchWith, CuteMenus-Crystal SVG, netcrafttoolbar, SpoofStick, Distrust, SafeCache, SafeHistory, TrackMeNot (new just updated better version, please make your own text file, terms separated by a single comma in plain text format), Validate, JavaScript Debugger, did not try out FlashBlock 1.5.1., Foxy Proxy, UserAgentSwitcher, Customize Google Options, termBlaster, Session Manager. DrWeb anti virus link checker,
Not all these are plug-ins with security in mind, but most are.

polonus....i just downloaded flock and some of the extensions like adblock,trustwatch and the good stuff....what exactly does the stealther extension do?....i got your pm

Hi drhayden1,
If there are times you want to surf the web without leaving a trace in your local computer, then this is the right extension for you. What it does is temporarily disable the following:
- Browsing History (also in Address bar)
- Cookies
- Downloaded Files History
- Disk Cache
- Saved Form Information
- Sending of ReferrerHeader.
None of the affected options gets cleared totally as opposed to some other extensions which enable you to wipe these privacy issues with a single click, but at the same time leaving you without the history of your frequently visited websites.
Usage:
- [Tools / Stealther] menu option
- Toolbar button
- [Ctrl+Shift+S] keyboard shortcut
Options are available through Extensions dialog.
