Title: Can I use computer while data shredder is running?

I'm running data shredder on deleted files to prepare a PC for repurposing. I've read posts here indicating I should not interrupt that operation. However, it appears that it will take a week to finish. Can I use the computer while data shredder is running without interfering with it's operation?

Hi,

It should only take a few hours maximum.
Are you shredding data on an SSD or HDD?
