Using the Scroogle search engine as an alternative to Google can help.

I used to use scroogle, but the listings are awful too much stripped out and graphically ugly, I went back to googling and to heck with worrying what they might be collecting, I even use the google preferences which requires me to keep the cookie. If you have nothing to hide you have little to worry about.

Conclusion

The searches you send out to Google are your business. You have the right to prevent Google from accumulating a perpetual history of your web searching. Use that right.

Conclusion
If your that worried about it use another search engine.

Exactly ! Not visiting child porn nor I ever will, not visiting those ugly virus-full warez sites, not visiting racism content filled and/or any kind of discrimination topic web sites, so there is really nothing to worry about.

I really don't give a s**i if Google will collect history of my web searches. All they can find is security related web sites, web sites that deals with web design issues, car repair forums, Canadian news forums and similar stuff.

If your that worried about it use another search engine.
Using another search engine only means that they'll get your information first
instead of Google but eventually, Google will also have that information.

In today's world, there really isn't any way to remain in a closed cocoon.
Ask any politician or any one else in the spotlight.
Nothing is secret and no matter how isolated you try to keep your personal things,
they will eventually surface.
If you start clean, stay clean, all they'll ever find is .......
