Hi everyone,
I`m glad to announce that new beta version is ready - 20.4.2408 (build 20.4.5273).
What's new:
- Wifi scanner for AVG brand introduced(with still few minor issues)
What was fixed
- Instup: fix messages in silent mode
- Casting fixed - Bob3160
- several BSODS
Known issues
- UI is not closed during AV uninstall so error message about stopped service is visible there
- broken tray dialog is displayed during edition downgrade
- UI button doesn´t run SupportTool.exe on Win7

Casting is NOT fixed. Sorry to say.
I can only cast when I turn off the Avast firewall.
When the Avast Firewall is on, I get an error message, "Something went wrong.
When I turn of the firewall and am using the Windows firewall, it connects without problems.

Apparently if you do an in place update via the program, the problem remains.
To fix the problem you either have to do a clean install or,
do a 'Restore Default' under troubleshooting.
I opted for the 'restore defaults' and casting now works again.

Hi,
Testing already this new beta ;)
I reinstalled my win10 a couple of days ago, thats a thing i like to do from time to time. I installed Avast again and i´m testing this new beta version of Avast Premium Security.
I still have the issue for a couple of months. It about the not working properly avast ssl certificate. I tried on all my browsers, ASB, GC, MF and ME (all updated versions) and i saw also on windows certificate store and appears the avast certificate its on all browsers certificate stores but not activated as doesn´t appear as a MITM certificate as it should and this is decreasing my https protection as i could check via eicar tests and amtso tests and the web shield doesn´t detect the files that came via https connections because the certificate is not working. Only detected after by file shield when it was supposed to be detected by web shield with the MITM certificate to work with https scanning properly. So whats is happening is that every malicious download file is getting passed thought if cames from https connections. Not being caught by web shield i have to pray for file shield to kick in.
And avast certificate appears on windows certificate store as untrusted root certificate.
In case of you are asking, i work in IT area for several years and i had cybersecurity certifications so i know a little bit of this and i would appreciate your help very much.

Please tell me if you new some logs.
