Title: cannot sync passwords to new pc

I'm temporarily using a pc. I downloaded Avast and added the avast password extension for chrome, but all the Avast info for how to sync the new pc with my existing avast passwords account (that works well on android and mac) don't actually work. So I can't get avast passwords extension to recognize that I have a bunch of passwords saved in my account. How can I make the chrome passwords extension recognize this and sync?

When you click on the Passwords icon, what opens?
Any messages? A screenshot may be helpful.
