Title: Problem regarding internet connections and avast vpn

Whenever I turn on my avast vpn I can use the internet as normal for a while, however after an hour or two my connection suddenly gets throttled hard and the internet refuses to load, even though it does say I'm connected to the internet(and running troubleshoot doesn't solve anything/doesn't find a problem). That's obviously a problem in itself, however interestingly this problem persists even after I turn the vpn off. The only way to fix this insane throttling of my internet is to restart my laptop. Is there a fix for this? Or should I get a refund?

Hi,

We do not throttle any internet connections. Throttling would normally be done by the ISP.
As you have mentioned, you are able to connect to our VPN service and your internet connection works fine for some time.
Please check with your ISP if they are throttling your connection.
