Title: strange behaviour (icons are gone!)

i'm under win98se  ;D

i noticed that when i go to the avast! screensaver properties \ exclusions \ browse , the small icons in the file explorer and in the quick launch bar disappear  ??? :-\   . icons of the desktop don't disappear.

then, when i reboot , everything is back....

is it a "small" bug ? can you notice that too ?

No, it doesn't reproduce here. Sounds like a problem with resources, possibly because of the additional window that appears, with its icons and stuff.
The problem with resources is quite common on Windows 9x... and I'm afraid I don't know about anything we could do about it. You may try to reduce the number of simultaneously running programs, if possible...  :-\
