I use headsoft ADCS to manage my off line files.
Under Vista pictures are stored in a new directory called /user/pictures
A shortcut is included in /user/document called "My Photos"
When Avast! is off when I synch my files "My Photos" copies in ADCS as a shortcut, but when Avast! is on ADCS follows the short cut and saves all the files in /users/pictures under /users/documents/my photos.
I think the windows short cut is a new type use to maintain compablity with older operarting systems and suspect that processing in Avast! somehow changed it to a subdirectory so that ADCS started to save the files.
Any thoughts on what is going on?
