Title: Automatic Updates BULL CRAP!!!!

WHY! Why does  security center in windows tell me there is an update and I have to tell it to update?  If I set it to automatic updates, then pop a notification telling me avast will update and then do so.  If a reboot is required then allow us to set a time to reboot.  I expect automatic updates to be gasp AUTOMATIC!!!!!

Keep getting the very annoying pop up that says Your Avast is Rocking the Latest Version

It is annoying, and only started happening after the latest update version 20.5

Now this pop up screen always comes on EVERY time I start my computer!

VERY annoying.

Repair Avast:
1. Avast GUI -> Settings -> Troubleshooting
2. Click on 'REPAIR APP'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

I have to agree. WHat is the point of having an "automatic updates" setting when it prompts me with an exclamation point on the taskbar icon that informs me a "critical update is required". This is what a program is supposed to do when you select any update option BESIDES AUTOMAtIC UPDATES. That setting should work in the background and keep things up to date... hence the name AUTOMATIC

AUTOMATIC is suppose to just update automatically and just let me know reboot is required if there is such requirement. If not, then that's that. I too don't understand the point of notifying me and showing things. Just bloody update it quietly, it's why it's set to AUTOMATIC in the first place.

Basically, current "Automatic" is behaving like the 3rd option called "Notify me when update is available". Makes no sense at all.
