Title: Files that are not scanned

Hey,

In the "protection-shield-opties" there is a small list of files that Avast does not scan => e.g. config.sys, msdos.sys, ...ect

Why are these not scanned? What IF there is a virus that actually harms these files?  ???  - Something i just wanted to know :)

Oh, if i remove them, so Avast scans all files,...when i update the program, after reboot the files are back in that list. ...just wpndering

Don't worry, these files cannot be infected by a virus.
Some of those files may cause conflicts (= problems to your operating system) when scanned by avast! (with specific settings of the Standard Shield).
