Title: Installing avast mobile without Google Play

As you probably know, the US and China are having a bit of trust issues that led to Huawei brands being blacklisted from using Google Mobile Services. This include the whole shebang of Google Playstore, Google maps, youtube, gmail, etc.

Anyway, I have a multiple device subscription and I would like to install Avast Mobile Security on one of my Huawei Android device. Unfortunately, the Huawei apps store (Huawei's alternative to Google Playstore) does not currently have Avast listed as one of its downloads. So my question to the Avast team, do you have an official link where I can download the Avast Mobile Security apk. so I can install it manually on my device.
If not then is there any alternative methods you can offer that will allow me to install your products on my Huawei device?
I know that I can probably find an apk floating around on the net somewhere, but I would rather it comes from a trusted or official source. So your help in the matter would be appreciated.

Anyone else who has experience installing Avast products on Android without Google Play feel free to chime in.

No one knows how if there is a way to install without Google Play?
Any moderators or people from avast here?

Hi,

We officially only use Google Play and a few selected App Stores for distribution.
We do not share the apk, nor do not have an official "apk download" link, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Well that's too bad. I was hoping to be able to use it on my Huawei Matepad. Avast should consider working with Huawei App Gallery. See if it can be made available through their services.

What are those other app stores you're referring to?
