File, Web and Email components do not start and can't be started. There is a message stating : Sorry about the inconvenience, we currently encounter an issue. We'll fix it as soon as possible"

Have same problem. Posted about it here in an earlier post. It's been over a week and nothing from Avast (update/action) so far.
Even though it's a free version, one would expect better service/help. :(

I am a paid subscriber and having the same problem. 3 of the 4 core shields will not start and AVAST you are posting that the problem is at your end. Please fix and update us on what the problem was/problems were. Thanks.

Hello, what version of AV and macosx are you using? Did the issue appeared out of blue? Did you update/restart/installed new sw before it appeared?

I'm running macOS 10.14.6 and Avast ver.14.5 (411c809806ec). The shields are OFF and message that problem is on Avast side.
It happened after auto update of software (not virus def update). Same problem on my both units.

I'm having this same problem as well on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 with a brand new OS install and Avast Security install.
