Title: Fingerprint issue with App Locking

For about 2 months now I've noticed that more often than not, when needing to unlock an app using the fingerprint (which uses an optical, under-display sensor) I'll be required to do so twice in quick succession before said app is actually fully unlocked and I'm able to finally use it. That is in addition to an existing problem that I've had since I bought the phone new just over a year ago: a very sluggish response to the fingerprint when unlocking an app. At times requiring a second or third try before succeeding.

To say the least it is quite frustrating and time consuming.

What I've done so far to try and correct the situation:

1. Cleaned the fingerprint sensor area on the screen 2. Deleted and reset my fingerprints in the phone settings
3. Uninstalled and then reinstalled Avast Mobile Security

Nothing I've done has helped improve the situation at all.

I have 2 Avast apps on my phone, both premium versions: AMS and Avast Cleanup. I keep them up to date.

Samsung Galaxy A70 (SM-A7050)
Android 10
One UI 2.0
