A friend on Facebook posted a link that she said had showed her who had been looking at her profile & I opened up the post but immediately realised it was dodgy as it said ‘ if you are looking at this their had now been installed . I realised it was spam/hacker when it immediately said that something was now installed but I didn’t make a note of the website & didn’t delete it. I was hoping Avast which I’ve just installed might pick it up, but it seems to only protect my emails & home router.. I’ve now changed my Facebook password & deleted the App temporarily. Can Avast please check if I have a virus or malware due to this on Facebook?
