Title: how do you speak or chat with a live person from Avast?

When trying to use a purchased program Avast tells me my trial is up & I need to purchase the program. When I messaged them about it, they responded with info on how to change my password. I need to speak or chat with a live person from Avast but seems like they have nothing but bots working for them. Any suggestions?

I don't believe there is a function like that.
There is a support ticket system so I don't know if this is what you mean by messaging them means (I suspect not) ?

However, you don't state what program you purchased ?
You should have received a confirmation email and should have had the license/registration number in it ?

I don't know where you are getting this need to change a password from as it isn't something that I'm (an avast user) aware of.

Have you logged on to your my.avast.com account and looked at the registrations ?
If so have you trid assigning that license/registration number to your installation ?
