Title: [RESOLVED] com.avast.daemon crashing every 10 seconds on MAC
Post by: re.carter on August 09, 2020, 04:46:17 PM
Similar to Aharris2 report - but I have only the basic avast installed - no trial extras have been enabled by me.

Macbook, mid2012 13" i7 8Gb, with the latest OS Patch 10.14.6, running AVAST 14.5 free basic no extras,  is generating repeated crash reports every 10 seconds.
What is AVAST up to ?

I can confirm that after a manual check for updates - crash reporter has stopped cycling and my fan has stopped screaming at me !
Thank you for your quick response.
