Title: Scheduling scans & removing signature
Post by: brinkeguthrie on August 25, 2020, 03:00:14 AM
Just installed the free Avast for MBP.
Is there a setting for scheduling scans on this version?

Also, can you remove the signature? this;

appears outdated.  TY

"free Avast for MBP". What do you mean by MBP?

The avast article about changing Avast email signature is not outdated. Screenshot is what I see for Avast Free (for Windows) 20.6.2420 (build 20.6.5495.588)

If indeed your questions relate to Avast Mac Security (Macbook Pro), then maybe seek advice from the specific Mac section of the forum here:

MBP stands for....wait for it....MacBook Pro.

I have the free version of Avast; it's just called Avast Security. I guess you have to have a paid version to do scan scheduling.
