Title: I have to disable Web Shield to access Bank of America
Post by: rywakw on September 16, 2020, 11:11:05 PM: As above. Avast is giving a false positive because I DO log into BoA, but about 1.8 seconds later Avast blocks the site saying there is phishing going on. There is not. Please fix. Thanks.
I'd give a photo of the warning but it looks like you don't allow pics to be posted.

You can use the - Reporting Possible False Positive File or Website - https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php (https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php) form.

Yes.

That is great as that goes to the Avast virus labs.

Given it's BoA, I would imagine it will be dealt with quickly.

Yes, that did the trick. I downloaded the new definitions but had to restart my PC to get it to not close the BoA site. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
