I am unable to launch free Avast Security for Mac even though it seems to be installed. There is no error message. I just click on the icon and then click Open. Nothing happens. I'd like to uninstall it and reinstall it, but the instructions for uninstalling say to launch it first. I am unable to do that. I also have Avast Secureline VPN, but that seems to run normally, though I have reported a big. I need a way to uninstall without using the app to do it.
