Title: You Tube /Avast Browser HACKED !
Post by: NCT53 on September 20, 2020, 01:07:03 AM
A financial investment website has some how hacked the Avast browser so that when I go to You Tube and click on a video, it shows one of their marketing videos instead of the one I clicked on.

Sometimes I get a black screen with a message that says "An error occurred. Please try again later. ( Playback ID: AA688fpRKFyHnVq_),  And then the actual video I wanted to watch will start playing in 5-8 seconds, or one of their videos will start playing

I can go to and click on the same video in Chrome browser, and the problem doesn't happen.

I have cleared cookies and restarted my computer, and the problem seemed to be corrected, but then it came back.
