Title: Avast says I'm offline but I'm not

Avast says that I'm offline and to check my connection but I'm online and have no issues with other apps accessing the internet.

Apparently my custom HOSTS file I use to block ads and stuff was blocking Avast's attempt to connect.  What websites does the Avast app use for stuff like buying subscription?

We show this page when our in-product messaging delivery fails. It usually relates to sales flows. However our Online help is being served by it as the same platform as well. The main server is ipm-provider.ff.avast.com
OTOH, it may be a bug in our setup - does this "offline message" appear always - for UPDATE button, banner, etc. ?
