Title: How to stop avast from scanning every time computer boot up?

Avast keep scanning my computer every time I turn on my computer, its make my computer slow. Is there a way to disable or stop this ?

I'm also having this since yesterday. Just popping up into the main window for no reason every now and then.

I suspect the OP is complaining of Avast activity at startup not necessarily have a Boot Time Scan scheduled, but they should check and confirm that is the case and report back with details of Avast processes that are causing concern at startup. Also whether free or paid Avast and version. Also Windows version.
