Title: Message: "AOL Uninstaller has woken up" and "Adobe Acrobat DC has woken up"

Avast has recently started taking me through an odd series of events.  Several days ago, Avast began doing something it had never done before.  Every time I opened my AOL Gold, a note came up by the lower right-hand corner of my screen.  It said, “AOL Uninstaller (Choose which Products to Remove) has woken up.  We’ll put it back to sleep after you close it.”    Yesterday, every time I opened Adobe Acrobat, I got a message similar to the “AOL Uninstaller” message.  The new message says, “Adobe Acrobat DC reader has woken up.  We’ll put it back to sleep after you close it.”  How can I get these messages about “AOL Uninstaller” and “Adobe Acrobat DC” to STOP?  Thanks.
