Title: Password Manager not working on Firefox

Why the Password Manager is not working in Firefox browser? The error message is 'Avast Passwords requires Avast antivirus to work. Make sure Avast antivirus is running and try again. Don't have it? I'm using the Premium version. What's happening?

Emails on this matter did not get any answer from Support.

Hi,

Can you please try to repair your Avast installation. Please follow the instructions as outlined here https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Repair-Antivirus
You'll need to reboot your PC after repairing.

Also, could you provide me with your ticket/ support case id, please?

im the same! gettting the same message and cant find the firefox exttenstion no more! whats happened to passwords?!

Hi,

Did you try to repair it?
Furthermore, make sure that "Passwords (old)" is enabled in the components section.

The extension itself is available from the UI.
Open Privacy > Passwords > Settings > Browser Intergration
