Title: Updated drivers, it corrupted my voice drivers
Post by: Zirin on October 14, 2020, 04:33:22 PM
Hello,

I used Avast Drivers Updater to update my drivers. It caused it that my voice drivers got corrupted. I reinstalled Windows two times, it has not fixed an issue. Instead of Realtek, there is Intel, which is not the right one. According to OEM Lenovo in Finland, this is 3rd customer they hear about Avast messing up drivers. What can I do? I want my PC to work.

Also it seems every other driver is messed up again. OEM Lenovo said only solution would be send my PC to them in Germany for inspection. It is 3 months old Lenovo A540 Ideacentre, cost me 1100 euros.. Avast, what can I do?

Sorry to hear that you have so much problems with our Driver Updater.

We want to help, but we need more information from you.

Is the driver updater still installed on the system?

If so, please provide us with the logs package so we can investigate what went wrong in your case and fix that?

You can simply send them by executing our log collector utility from this path C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Driver Updater\dulogcollector.exe and once the logs are collected they will be automatically send to our server.

Once it is done, please let me know which email address you have used there so we can join the logs with your report here.

If not, please install it again and only scan for device drivers, please do not update. Then please provide the log files as described above.

Did you know that you can rollback each updated driver with Driver Updater?
