Title: problem with last avast version and windows installer

Hi,

Since few release agao i have a conflict with one component of avast free and windows installer.

The team correct this problem till the current version and the issue is coming back.

Windows installer stop to work and avoid install microsoft update. :'(

As soon as i remove free avast, all is working fine ;D

So if the team can look after once again for this problem?

Hi Gerald.
Please state which version Avast Free you have, e.g. 20.8.2432 (build 20.8.5684.602)
Which version of Windows?
Do you get any error messages?

Hi,

I have the last version that you mentioned on your message.

Sorry i uninstall the last version and let run microsoft security essential.

The warning message was in French " Windows installer a cessé de fonctionner "

This was the same warning message that i have few month ago with a release that was in conflict with " Windows installer "

The Avast Team found the problem and was able to reproduce it and they correct them.

I have only this on Seven pro 64, not on 8.1 64

I can understand that 7 is not supported by Microsoft any longer, but this is not this what there's such issue once again :'(
