Title: nexus 5p recovery
Post by: kevin.j.rice on October 18, 2020, 06:43:08 PM
I'm unable to find my Avast online account associated with a Nexus 5P with mobile security installed. One of my family members set a different PIN on the phone. Is there any way to do a factory reset in order for me to recover access? I tried doing a recovery boot, but the only option I see is 'No command'. I tried using the SDK fastboot oem unlock command, but that apparently is not allowed. Any ideas?

Factory reset requires your password or pin which ever you've set up.

Is there no way to root the phone (as a last ditch effort) from the stock boot loader without a PIN?
