ADU suggests to downgrade drivers..!! :o
-
That is interesting. Please support us and provide us with more detailed information.
Could you please provide us with the logs package so we can investigate what went wrong in your case and fix that?
You can simply send them by executing our log collector utility from this path C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Driver Updater\dulogcollector.exe and once the logs are collected they will be automatically send to our server.
Once it is done, please let me know which email address you have used there so we can join the logs with your report here. Please send the email address only as direct message.

Hi Klaus, it's probably easier to contact me directly via DM (@asyn) on Slack for details. Cheers

We use the driver date as a basis for the check. In this case the driver with the lower version number was unfortunately released later than the driver with the higher version number. :-\
Using the date is more reliable than the version number because the number ranges of the version are often changed in the device drivers.
-
Let's put it this way, there's room for improvement, as this will confuse most of the ADU users. ;)
-
That is truly true.
But every day the manufacturers offer surprises in terms of version numbers and version date.
We always want to get better, so we always need the information here if something doesn't work as expected.
