Title: How can I find Order ID and ask a refund

Hello,

Today I've been charged £82.32 for an "avast software" I know nothing about, I just got the notification on my credit card and that's it.

The Avast support asks for a "Order ID" attached to the purchase confirmation email, but I never got any email. And I think that's normal because I've never created an Avast account. I never bought any product and I stopped using Avast many months ago.
Being desperate, I created few minutes ago a new account, I re-installed Avast and tried to link this new email to the avast program on my laptop. Opening Avast, it says that there is an "avast free antivirus" subscription active. The only thing I got is the long subscription code consisting in 18 numbers and letters.
I went on "my subscription" on the avast account I just created and linked to my pc but nothing appears.

So basically: I never used any avast product, I never purchased any subscription, I never created any account nor received any email, but they're charging me lot of money and I can't ask for any help because the form requires a "order ID" I don't have.

I can only provide just my personal details, the subscription code number and I can tell you which credit card is linked to this "subscription".

Can you help me? I really tried everything and I'm desperate at this point.

I'd like to suspend whatever is going on and get a refund as soon as possible.

What Avast Product/s were you using ?

Were they trial products, you would have given your payment details and at the end of the trial period, you would have been changed.  Otherwise how would they have got your details

If you weren't using trial products, when you purchased you should have received an email, that should have had your order ID.
Did you receive any email from Avast ?

The most common reason for non-receipt of emails are:
Intercepted by your email provider or email program and sent to the spam folder.
Making a typo in your email address.
Using an old email address that is no longer active.

If you haven't got an Order ID enter 00000000 and should get you past that hurdle and give you a chance to explain the circumstances.  Give as much information as possible to identify this as you can (you can include the subscription code number) to help identify the item/s.
