Title: Problem with mouse (Avast Premium Security)
Post by: Komen on October 27, 2020, 12:17:58 PM
Hello!

Any time Avast opens "popup" notification or I open Avast window, my left click mouse button stops working.
What can I do?

Thanks

I also knew the same problem! Could solve the problem on my mouse settings. I use a gamer mouse there, you can do all the settings yourself. LG Joe

I also have Logitech G300s mouse.
How did you solve this problem with mouse settings?
For me it just started this problem without me doing anything to mouse settings...

I use a Logitech M350 mouse with a USB Unifying wifi connection I also used  an Logitech MX Performance Mouse with the same USB Unifying wifi connection, so no wired connection of the Logitech G300s mouse and no conflict/issue with avast.

I would have though a wired mouse would have less of an issue.
Is there a driver update for this range of logitech mice ?

Found a workaround FOR this problem...
Right click on the item I want to click (to ''select'' position where I want to click) and space bar to substitute left click...
I don't know how would this be mouse settings problem since it all worked OK with no changes to computer hardware or software and only effect Avast application...

- Which version/build of Avast Premium..? 20.7.2425 (build 20.7.5568.601)
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?) Windows 7, 64 bit
- Other security related software installed..? No
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..? Avast for last 3-4 years

''Problem'' is installed program "ClickFix" that I use because my mouse sometime makes 2 or more left click instead of just one...
If I close this app, Avast works OK.

Can developers look into this?

Thanks

Are you an Avast employee or volunteer?
Either way... Since I have find bug in the system, "Thank you, we will have a look." would be proper response.

Have a nice day

PS
Yes, I have installed latest version 20.8.2432 (build 20.8.5684.602) ...
