Title: Is there a shortcut to create a packet rule? (Open port)
Post by: Max312 on November 06, 2020, 10:13:44 AM
Hello everybody,

First of all, sorry for my English - not native - it may include mistakes.

At work, I am using Avast Business Antivirus Pro (actual version: 20.8.2615 (build: 20.8.5684.604)).

To connect to my SQL instances, I need to open the TCP Port #49909. However, it sometimes reset during the day, or when I restart my computer.
(I think it may be because we have an "administrator" of the Avast software and so maybe he can manage this; but the port must be opened only on my computer and not the other ones that he manages.)

I would like to know if there is a way to create a shortcut to open a specific port (on my computer only), instead of: Opening Avast, clicking on "Protection" then "Firewall", then "Settings", then "Packet Rules", then "Add" a new one (name + TCP : port number), "Move Up" & Activate it.

Thank you.
Best regards.
