Title: wi-fi inspector - scan home network - unknown name
Post by: sergiosilver on November 18, 2020, 05:27:40 PM
Hi
1) Executed a scan home network today,  every component of my network was found + 3 components "unknown name"
2) in the details of every unknown item, I find a MAC address and an IPv6 address
3) I found no possibility in Avast to deactivate or suppress those items
4) in a Command Prompt, tried Arp -A  but those 3 MAC addresses were not displayed
5) in a Command Prompt, if I try a ping and the IPv6 address, I receive a positive response
6) but in msconfig32.exe, executed a "find what" on each MAC address and didn't find anything...

Can somebody tell me where to look at ?

ty, Serge
