Title: LATEST INSTALLABLE DRIVER UPDATER IS BLUE SCREEN STOP CODING MY LAPTOP
Post by: ric10 on November 27, 2020, 02:09:46 PM
My laptop after using this UPdater here on AVAST has resorted to stop code screens where it becomes synonymous with a crash. This happens after certain browsers are loaded and the MS knowledge base suggested the unknown original listed in the blue screen itself can be traced back to 3rd party subscriber drivers being introduced to my system's architecture or however you describe the factory conditions before 3rd party entropy gets injected. I thought I'd posted this here for feedback but apparently no reply or it was somehow erased. Normally, you'd think there would be a roll back tool so these drivers can be removed or reset back to the days of yore. But when I do my reset the questionable drivers remain in place and the blue screen stop code episodes persist. Is there anybody out there?

Hi, to help you, we need more information about what happened on your system. The easiest way to collect the needed information is to use our application. Please execute our log collector from the following path:

C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Driver Updater\dulogcollector.exe

Please send the logs to us using your email address. Then send me direct message here in this board and inform me about the email address you used - so I can access your logs.

By the way: Our Driver Updater automatically creates a backup copy of each driver before the new driver is installed. When you select a driver in the driver overview, you can see which driver versions are available. If only one is displayed, then this driver has not been updated. Otherwise, you can install another one from the backup.
