Title: HELP!!

I think there is a virus on my computer, because when i open up "my computer" there is like a black shading on the left column and after i run avast it is still there afterwards.

Well... it's difficult to say.
Does this occur after you boot the computer again?

Please, try full avast scanning and, if you can, full on-line computer scanning:

Well, I'll ask the same again:
Which is the name and path of the infected file?
Which is your operational system?
Anyway, it's safer to send the file to Chest instead of deleting it at first...
