Title: Look at this "evil" list, should we do something about this?
Post by: polonus on January 16, 2021, 03:42:19 PM
Read and then make up your mind, maybe you should steer away from Big Tech on Interwebz as much as you can
Or just not steer away and have faith in what they try to do and trust them.

Users changing Whatsapp for Messenger, posting on disqus rather than using facebook.

Parler being blocked by a Big Tech cartel now. Users going from YouTube to Bitchute dot com, and even worse to banned video.

Is Internet freedom at stake and are we all going to come and live within the same Big Tech Info-bubble?

Interesting, just take a look at their cookie/privacy list that you essentially have to agree with.  Whilst many are off by default there are some unnecessarily permanently enabled (in my opinion) and or you can't disable.

This type of thing makes me consider if I should even bother with the site ;)

This is one of the few times the big evil list of companies
doesn't seem to include Microsoft. :)

There seems a big increase in Signal downloads since WhatsApp's recent change in terms.
