Title: Hardware assisted virtualization and CyberCapture
Post by: nagisa on January 18, 2021, 07:12:52 AM
Does CyberCapture use hardware virtualization? On my system I use Memory Integrity, part of the Virtualization based security feature of Windows and it brokes everything else while it's enabled.

Hi,

You can try disabling it in Menu> Settings> Troubleshooting to test it.

Hi,

You can try disabling it in Menu> Settings> Troubleshooting to test it.

What's the downside of disabling it? Would it decrease the detection ability of CC?

You don't need to uncheck that checkbox, it should be handled automatically by Avast.
If you uncheck it anyway, some protection features (e.g. self-defense or sandboxing) may be a bit less effective.
