Title: Secure line doesn’t have a valid IP configuration

My Acer laptop won’t ‘see’ any internet connections as usual. I thought it might have been battery saver, as this wouldn’t let me turn Wifi on, so I uninstalled that. Now troubleshooter gives the message as in the title.

First started the other day, then last night connected to my wifi hotspot as usual. Now nothing I do will let any network connections show, to allow me to connect to one. Very frustrated!

Could be a Windows/Intel/laptop thing, I'm seeing a lot of stuff about that online....!
