Title: Avast Mobile detects Phone as malware

Hello to everybody!

Avast Mobile Security has detected the app 'Phone' as malware. Obviously I cannot uninstall this app.

Could it be a false positive?

Hi,

can somebody at Avast please confirm if this is currently a known issue? I have had the same message come up after a scan today. However every scan i have completed after that scan has had "no threats detected" so I am concerned if this is an actual threat or if it is a false positive.

Appreciate any help!

Okay, thank you for your response!

Is this a known/common issue with Avast? I've only been using it about a month and found it quite alarming/worrying to have it tell me there was malware on my phone!

One more question if that's okay... how can you tell this was a FP? Is it because JanK replied saying "detection will be fixed in next update"? Just so I know what to look out for in case anything like this appears on a scan in the future.
