Hello everyone,
We’re pleased to announce that we have released a new version of Avast Secure Browser (ASB) for Mac - version 88.0.
Changes
- Renamed “Stealth Mode” to “Private Mode”
- Improvements of compatibility for importing data from your previous browser
Fixes
- Improved the overall stability of the Browser
- Improved speed and stability of Avast Sync
- Several fixes of displaying the bookmarks
- Other Chromium 88 fixes
- Includes a 0-day security patch (CVE-2021-21148)
- Includes a critical security patch (CVE-2021-21117)
- Minor design improvements and fixes

If you have ASB already installed, it should be updated automatically (feel free to visit ‘secure://settings/help’ to trigger an update faster)
